本standared는 글로벌 마이크로 패터닝 위원회 で技術的に承認されている。現版は2008年8月29日、global Audits and Reviews Subcommittee にて発行が承認された。 2008 年10 にwww.semi.org で，そして2008年11月にCD-ROM で入手可能となる。 初版は2006年6月に発行，前版は2008 年3 月に発行された。

 

本gaidの目的は， (1)測長走査型電子顕微鏡（CD-SEM ）の倍率校正に用いられる倍率標準試料の共通かつ重要な仕様を規定し，その結果として， (2) 誰にとっても使いやすい倍率標準試料を提供する ことである.
