이 표준은 Global Micropatterning Committee에서 기술적으로 승인했으며 North American Micropatterning Committee의 직접적인 책임입니다. 현재 버전은 2004년 7월 11일 북미 지역 표준 위원회에서 승인되었습니다. 2004년 11월에 출판될 예정입니다. 원래 1991년에 출판되었습니다.

이 절차는 포토레지스트의 나트륨 및 칼륨 분석을 위한 화염 원자 흡수 분석 방법입니다. 적용 가능한 농도 범위는 시료를 1~4로 희석했을 때 0.1~1ppm입니다. 정밀도는 4개 실험실 간의 라운드 로빈 분석에서 0.1ppm 이내인 것으로 나타났습니다.
