本試験方法は，Global Compound Semiconductor Committeeで技術的に承認されたもので，日本地区化合物半導体材料委員会が直接責任を負うものである現。版は19 99年6月1日に日本地区standard委員会にて承認された。1999年8 月にまずSEMI On Line で入手可能になり，1999 年9 月発行に至る。
