Abstract
本基準は、global Silicon Wafer Committee で技術的に承認されている。現版は2008年8月29日、global Audits and Reviews Subcommittee にて発行が承認された。 で、そして2008年11月にCD-ROM で入手可能となりました。 初版は1981年発行、前版は2007年7 月に発行されました。
注意： 本書は前版の SEMI M6 と SEMI M6.1 、 SEMI M6.2 、 SEMI M6.3 、 SEMI M6.4 、 SEMI M6.5 を全面改訂したものである。
本仕様は太陽光（ PV ） 電池の製造に使用されるシリコンウェーハの要求事項について保留している。
