本基準は、グローバル フラット パネル ディスプレイ – マスク委員会で技術的に承認されています。現版は2010年12月21日、グローバル監査およびレビュー小委員会にて発行が承認されました。 semiviews.org およびwww.semi.orgで入手可能となる。初版は1992年発行、前版は2008年3 月に発行された。
本仕様は、液晶ディスプレイ（ LCD ）用マスクの製造に使用される標準基板を規定するものである。
